Why are you closed?
Very sadly but in the interests of public health we have taken the painful decision to temporarily close both of our Bounce venues. This is in light of the Coronavirus outbreak and with government recommendation in mind.
When will you reopen?
It is unconfirmed at the moment, but we are taking enquiries from September 2020 onwards as we’re hopeful that we will be back to normality by then. Keep an eye on our website, social channels and email newsletter for the latest updates.
I have a booking coming up while you’re closed, am I able to reschedule or get a refund?
I would like to book with you for later on in the year, can I still do that?
Yes! We are taking enquiries from September onwards. Simply use the enquiry button on the website and we will sort this for you. If anything changes, we will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
Where are you?
Bounce Farringdon can be found opposite the large Sainsbury’s head office on Holborn Circus, and directly next to Boots on Holborn (next to Hatton Garden). The closest tube station is Chancery Lane (Exit 2), with Farringdon tube and overground station only a four minute walk.
Bounce Old Street is located at 241 Old Street, London, EC1V 9EY and is a three minute walk from Old Street Station, Exit 1.
Do you have other venues?
Bounce currently has three venues, one in Farringdon, one in Old Street, with a third – Ace Bounce – that launched in Chicago in June 2016.
Is there a dress code?
No. Bounce has no dress code. We want all guests to feel comfortable in the venue – as long as you at least have something on. Loin cloth will do.
Can we come in fancy dress?
Absolutely! Do it. We may take photos…
Is there disabled access?
Yes we do – please contact reservations for more information.
Do you have a cloakroom?
We have a free cloakroom in both venues!
Can I bring my tiny dog in? He is potty trained.
No. We do not permit any animals in the venue due to health and safety reasons. Guide dogs are always welcome though.
Are kids allowed in the venue?
Bounce welcomes under 18’s in the venue during our off-peak hours: before 6pm Monday-Saturday and all day Sunday. Good old kids. All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21.
At Farringdon each Sunday we have a Family Club, with kid’s celebration packages and menus.
Do you show live sports?
Yes, our venues have screens showing the very best of sport, from the big matches to the obscure on BBC, ITV, BT Sport (both venues) and Sky (only in Old Street). Check out our What’s On page for the most up-to-date fixtures or just ask the teams in the venues.
Do you have DJs?
Yes we have some of London hottest DJs playing banging tunes on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and throughout Christmas
Booking Ping Pong, Wonderball & Beer Pong
Do I have to book a table?
At Bounce we are designed for groups. We highly recommend booking a table in advance for groups of 6+, as there is no guarantee of availability without a booking. The quickest way to check live availability and book (up to one hour before) is on the website, or give our reservations team a call.
Can I just walk-in and play?
We set a certain number of Ping Pong and Beer Pong tables aside each day for walk-in guests and smaller groups; on our busiest days there can be a long wait for these tables, as they are allocated on a first come first served basis.
Why can't I book for a group less than six?
Groups of less than six can book a table during our quieter times (off-peak period: before 6pm Monday – Saturday, and all day Sunday).
Advanced bookings in the evenings at Bounce are reserved for groups of 6+ as we are specifically designed for groups – the energy and atmosphere would suffer indescribably if we had just two people playing on every table. If you’d rather not find five friends and would like to play in the evening, you are welcome to come down to Bounce and request a walk-in table.
How much does it cost to play Ping Pong?
For groups of 2-12 it costs £6 for Peak bookings and £4 for Off-Peak per person.
For groups of 13-25 it is £5 for Peak and £4 for Off-Peak. For groups bigger than 25, the additional guests play for free.
To upgrade to a Wonderball booking, an additional £1 per person will be added.
Every Friday night from 9pm there is a Games Table run by one of the excellent Bounce Games Gurus. This table is designed for as many people to play at once and is free for everyone to join in (and includes Saturdays in December). We also have Beat the Robot on Thursdays in Farringdon where you can pit yourself against a ping pong machine who may have a recognisable face attached…
How long can I have the ping pong tables for?
Advanced Ping Pong table bookings can have a duration of up to two hours depending on the group size. For peak hours, minimum group size is six, and for off-peak it’s two people. Walk-in table bookings usually vary between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the number of guests and the demand for the tables.
Can I extend my table if I want to play longer?
If you can’t get enough of Ping Pong, speak to the reception team on arrival to the venue regarding a longer playing time. If there is availability they will be more than happy to allocate more playing time in line with your group size, otherwise they can offer you the next available table.
What table will I be on? Can I request a table?
Table numbers are allocated on the day of your booking. Don’t ask for it before as it may change! We try our best to accommodate all requests, however from time to time we may need to move some things around. Certain tables are better suited for larger groups so we need to make sure every booking at Bounce has a sufficient amount of space around the table to get the most out of the Bounce experience.
Do we have to bring our own bats & balls?
Bats and balls are provided for you and your guests. Feel free to bring your own – but don’t expect to take the balls home with you 🙂
How many bats can I have?
Up to four bats are provided with all Ping Pong table bookings. If you would like additional bats, these can be requested with the reception team.
Is the standard of equipment any good?
Our bats and tables are of the highest quality, of course!
Can I play Beer Pong?
Absolutely we have digital and classic Beer Pong available in both our venues. You can either pre-book these or request a table when you’re in the venue.
How much is Beer Pong?
For Classic beer pong its £12 per table per 30 minutes.
For Digital Beer Pong, it’s £15 per table per 30 minutes.
If you have 2-6 people you have the table for 30 mins, for 7-12 people you can have it for 1 hour. Any bookings over 13, please enquire.
Do you serve beer in the Beer Pong cups?
In classic Beer Pong, absolutely. In digital we cannot serve beer in the cups due to the technology, but we can still serve your drinks on the side.
Drinks are not included with a Beer Pong booking, but can be pre-booked or ordered in venue.
What is Wonderball?
Wonderball is a completely new immersive activity using state of the art projection mapping that sees each Wonderball table becoming a giant computer game. Introducing a whole new way for groups to play – with very little skill needed. You can also play classic Ping Pong on these tables.
How much does Wonderball cost to play?
Book now from just £6pp– it’s pretty snazzy.
What time should we arrive for our booking?
You can come to Bounce at any time we are open to enjoy some food or drinks in our awesome bars before your booking. You will just need to check in with the reception team a couple of minutes before your booking and they will take you straight to your Ping Pong or Beer Pong table.
Can we stay in the venue once the Ping Pong or Beer Pong table is done?
Absolutely! Our venues have seating and bar areas where you are more than welcome to move over to after any Ping Pong/Beer Pong playing – in fact, it would be rude not to!
Can I reserve an area in the bar?
You can’t reserve ahead of time but the bar and booth seating are inclusive areas available for any guests on a first come first served basis. You are more than welcome to come and enjoy the bar at any time at Bounce. However if you have any special requests then please get in touch and we can see what we can do.
What's a Games Guru?
A Games Guru’s sole job is to make sure your work social, birthday, hen, team building or just casual night out is not only hilarious but organised too.
Our Gurus are from comedy and entertainment backgrounds and are available for all groups of 8 or more. You can relax, knowing they will ensure every guest in your group (from the hotshot to the complete beginner) will get involved in a fun way in the unique group games. And don’t be alarmed, the focus is on entertainment rather than pure sporting competition!
How do I book a Games Guru?
You can pre-book with one of our All-in Packages or with our Reservations Team.
How much does a Games Guru cost?
To hire a Games Guru costs £5 per person- cheaper than a round of drinks!
Food and drink
Can we eat and drink at the Ping Pong table?
Yes. Our menus are designed so you can play with one hand and eat and drink with the other. We have table service throughout the venue where our awesome team can take food and drink orders while you play, or in any of our bar areas.
What kind of food do you serve?
We serve 13″ pizzas, as well as sharers and bites, that are perfect to enjoy around a Ping Pong table. We have veggie, vegan and free-from-gluten options available across our menu. Any special requests, just ask.
Can I pre-order food and drink?
Absolutely, as Bounce is such a popular venue, to get the ultimate experience we would always recommend pre-ordering your food and drink, so you can spend your time enjoying the game. You can pre-order anything from a round of drinks to our ultimate All-in-Packages, with Ping Pong, Drinks, canapes, pizza and Games Gurus for your group. What more could you want?
Can I just come for a drink?
Yes, please enjoy a drink or few in any of our bars or great social spaces. No booking necessary.
Can we bring our own food/drink?
As Bounce has a full service bar serving food and drink, so outside food and drink is not permitted in the venue. If you have any special requirements, please get in touch with the reservations team.
Can I bring a cake?
Yes you can, but we have the ultimate giant cupcake available to pre-book to make a special occasion an epic one. However you are of course welcome to bring a cake to the venue. Bring two so we can have one. The team are more than happy to hold on to the cake and bring it out to your group when requested.
When do you serve food?
At Farringdon, our kitchens are open from 4pm Monday – Thursday, and from 12 noon on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
At Old Street, our kitchens are open from 4pm Monday – Thursday, 2pm Friday & Saturday, and 1pm for Bottomless Brunch on Sunday.
Kitchens close an hour before the venues do.
Parties & Brunches
Do you do Bottomless Brunches?
Yes! We hold a Bottomless Brunch every Sunday, from 1-3pm at Bounce Old Street. We also have monthly themed Brunches on Saturdays – check out our What’s On Page for more information.
Your £29.50 two-hour ticket (per person) includes:

Yes you can! You can book a Private Brunch at Old Street.

What is a Games Guru booking?
Bounce Games Gurus organise, entertain, and award your event. Depending on the size and character of the group, they will put together a range of fun and energetic activities such as sports day games booking or a bespoke doubles tournament. If you’re trying to create a unique event, celebrate a special occasion or find a great team building activity this is it. The Games Gurus will make sure that everyone gets involved and enjoys the event regardless of skill. Prices vary depending on the size of your group.
Do you have to pay for Karaoke or UV lighting in the private room?
Karaoke and UV lighting are included in the cost of a private room booking.
